PlayThru does not have any protections against people selecting the wrong golfer on the scorecard. We did this intentionally to help keep things simple. Where possible we avoid putting hurdles in the path of people using the scorecard.
When setting up your events, we do require that all golfer names be different. You can't add or save a golfer name if it matches an existing name in an event.
